Kidraz is a streaming platform that regularly changes its domain name. When the site becomes inaccessible, the issue isn’t always a technical outage: a DNS block ordered by an authority or a move to a new address can produce exactly the same symptom in your browser.

DNS blocking and domain migration: two distinct mechanisms to identify

A streaming site can stop responding for two very different technical reasons. Confusing them can lead you to try the wrong solution.

DNS blocking occurs at the internet service provider level. A court or administrative decision orders providers to stop resolving the domain name in question. The site’s server keeps running, but your connection can no longer locate it. That’s why some users can still access the site from another country or network, while others get an error.

Domain migration, on the other hand, is a decision made by the site operator. The old address may redirect to the new one, or it may not. When Kidraz stops working overnight, it’s often because the previous domain has been abandoned in favor of a new one, without an automatic redirect.

A quick test can help you tell the two cases apart: try accessing the site from a mobile network that’s different from your usual home connection. If the site loads on one but not the other, DNS blocking is the most likely explanation.

Kidraz loading errors: technical causes on the browser side

Before suspecting a block, consider that several local factors may prevent the site from displaying.

DNS cache and browser cache

Your browser and operating system store domain name and IP address associations in memory. If Kidraz has moved to a new domain, your local DNS cache may still point to the old address. Clearing your device’s DNS cache forces a fresh lookup and may be enough to restore access if the domain has simply changed IP addresses.

On Windows, run the command from Command Prompt. On Android, turning Wi-Fi off and back on has the same effect. Also remember to clear your browser’s cache, which stores static files from the old version of the site.

Browser extensions and antivirus software

Some ad blockers and security extensions filter domains associated with unauthorized streaming. Antivirus software with web filtering can also intercept the request before it reaches the server. Temporarily disabling these extensions can help pinpoint the cause.

Testing access in private browsing mode is the quickest diagnostic: this mode disables most extensions and bypasses the cache.

Alternative DNS resolvers and the limits of bypassing blocks in France

Changing your DNS resolver (switching from your provider’s resolver to a public one) is a commonly shared tip. Before trying it, it’s worth understanding the legal and technical realities of this approach.

In France, blocking measures are no longer limited to traditional internet service providers. Recent decisions have extended blocking obligations to infrastructure providers such as alternative DNS resolvers. On July 15, 2026, the Conseil d’État confirmed that a provider such as Cloudflare could be subject to a blocking obligation in France.

In practice, a public DNS resolver is no longer a guarantee of access to a site blocked by court order. Measures can also be extended to mirror sites—that is, copies of a site hosted under a different domain.

  • The initial block targets the site’s main domain, making it inaccessible through internet service providers
  • Measures can then be extended to mirror domains without a new, full legal process
  • Third-party DNS resolvers can also be ordered to block the domain’s resolution

This explains why a streaming site can gradually become inaccessible through all the usual routes, even those that worked just a few weeks earlier.

Kidraz on Android: issues specific to apps and mobile browsers

Accessing the site from an Android smartphone adds another layer of complexity. Mobile browsers often have their own DNS resolver, separate from the one configured in the phone’s Wi-Fi settings.

Android Private DNS (available in network settings from Android 9 onward) lets you set a specific resolver for the entire system. If this setting points to a resolver that is itself subject to a block, the site will remain inaccessible regardless of which app you use.

Third-party streaming apps (APK files downloaded outside the Play Store) pose an additional risk. These files aren’t subject to Google security checks. They may contain malicious code that intercepts your browsing data or injects ads.

  • Check the Private DNS setting in Android settings before trying anything else
  • Use the browser rather than an unverified APK app
  • Try a second mobile browser to rule out a cache or extension issue

Kidraz catalog redirects to other sites: what this means

According to verified observations, the Kidraz .fr domain now displays movie and TV show listings that link to other platforms. This kind of change indicates that the original domain no longer operates as a standalone video player.

Seeing the name Kidraz on a page doesn’t mean you’ve found the service as it used to be. A domain can be reused for a redirect catalog with no connection to the team that ran the original site. This practice is common in the streaming ecosystem: a familiar domain name attracts traffic, which is then redirected to other services.

Checking that the site you’re seeing matches the service you expect is still the most reliable approach. If the page no longer offers an integrated video player and only provides external links, the original site has probably stopped operating at that address.
